Our goal is to enrich the lives of our youth by providing an arena for the game of basketball in a positive and rewarding
environment of excellence. We focus on providing 4th through 8th graders a competitive basketball experience playing high
school rules with certified officials. It is intended for competitive teams to prepare the players for high school basketball
and beyond.
Each year we offer our Thanksgiving, Holiday and March Madness tournaments. In addition to teams
from Idaho, our tournaments regularly attract teams from Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Nevada. All tournaments are open for any
teams to participate.
Our Winter Super League is intended for school aligned competitive teams. Teams are
encouraged to arrange their teams using high school and/or junior high boundaries as a guideline. The purpose is to get kids
playing together that will eventually be playing together in junior high and high school. Games are played on weeknights in
Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, and Rexburg. Anyone is welcome to form a team keeping in mind that this league is intended for competitive
teams and may not benefit all kids.
Proceeds for our league and tournaments are donated to the
Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research. The V Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping
to find a cure for cancer. The V Foundation was created in honor of the late North Carolina State basketball coach –
Jimmy Valvano.
Idaho Premier Basketball looks to the future with great excitement and continued
